Word of the Day

Good morning with a word for the day-
As I was reading my Bible this morning, I came across a set of notes that spoke to me, maybe it will speak to you, too.
So many times in life our vision is so dim and narrow that we can't seem to work through problems. Life is challenging enough without creating even more problems.
In Matthew 15:32-38, Jesus was teaching the multitudes and was confronted with a problem. After three days, the people were hungry, tired, and growing weak. His disciples were informed of the problem, but their narrow vision was creating even more problems. In themselves, they didn't have the answer. But then, the thing they did right was they took their issue to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus did three simple things for the disciples and when these are applied to any issue, He will solve our problems, too. First: He quickly identified the issues at hand. Second: He invited others to help solve the issue by looking around to see what was available to be used to solve the issue. Third: He showed them how to solve the issue themselves. What a lesson! If we would just look around, see what God is doing, and use what He has given us, He will show us how to work out the issues at hand. In this way, so many of our problems would be solved and God would be glorified!
Many today have no intention of solving anything because they see complex problems, instead of simple solutions. In turn, it allows one’s life to become narrow and dim. God has equipped us with everything we need to successfully work through the issues in life.
In John 8:7, Jesus said to a group of people, whose lives had grown narrow and dim, ‘He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.’ Don't become a stone thrower. Become a problem solver by solving issues.
Solve them God's way and you won't create even more problems.
Matthew 15:32-38
