Word of the Day

February 15, 2022

Exodus 13:3 says, ‘Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt.’
This is such a profound statement to me. Throughout the Word of God, you find these words. It should be some of the most encouraging words you read. I wonder how much trouble we could prevent for ourselves if we would remember what the Lord has done. I know for myself, I would not be as discouraged, down, or ready to give up as often as I am if I would just remember what the Lord has done. I would save myself a lot of heartache, a lot of sleepless nights, a lot of stress and worry if I would just remember what the Lord has done. As I think about it, it's almost funny all the time I wasted on fretting over something that was not mine to fret over. Worry is an indicator that my faith is not where it should be and without faith I cannot please God. With everything that I am I want to please God.
Today be of good courage and start asking God to increase your faith. Leave the worry up to him.
Is He still God or is He not? That is the only question we must answer for ourselves.
Matthew 6:25-34
