Psalms 105:38 says Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen upon them. Not one place in scripture can you find that says the children of Israel lifted one finger toward their deliverance. But yet it says for the fear of them. Oh, how I wish to see the people of God live in such a way that the evil rulers of this world would fear them again. Remember they had been in bondage over 400 years. They had no army or weapons or even the ability to train or organize such things. But what they did have was a covenant with a God that needed none of those things. That God if you read Ps. 105 released His creation loose against the greatest military army of that time. He struck them with weapons such as frogs, flies, hail as rain, lice, flames of fire in their land and let us not forget the locusts. He struck them with so much undeniable power that the enemy of God was more than willing to let His people go. And they did not go empty handed. They left that place with pockets full of silver and gold. When we live again in the faith of the covenant we have with that same God, then and only then will we see the army of God be released against our today enemies. Today we are trying to leave this place with pockets full of silver and gold instead of faith in our God. When we all live as if He is able to deliver us from the evil of this world. We will find that He has not forsaken His covenant with those who believe in Him. And no army will be able to stand against the weapons of our mighty God.

Romans 4:7-8 says Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven. And whose sins are covered. My favorite movie of all times is It’s a wonderful life. I love the part where Jimmy Steward comes to himself about how wonderful his life really is, after being revealed what other people’s lives could have been without the influence of his life. I cry about this time in the movie. Because it reminds me of two things. First how small we see our own lives, as if they do not matter in the lives of others who live in this world. And they do, no matter who you are, your life has touched many others. Secondly, what a life we have to live, and it is a wonderful life, no matter the condition or situation, trails or struggles we see and go through, these lives given to us by our heavenly Father are worthy to be lived. Verse 8 says blessed is the man to whom the lord shall not impute sin. We all have had lawless deeds, but we all have been forgiven by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Just as His life touched our lives, our lives in Christ Jesus should touch others’ lives. No, we can't take away their sins, but we can live a life as witnesses of a life that has had its sins covered. It’s a wonderful life to live for those who have not had their sins imputed but covered and removed by a loving Father. We have so much to give to a world full of those who need something to be given. To help, love, listen and to care for others. Take a moment and see what a wonderful life God has given to you and pass it on. Oh, what a wonderful life we have. Romans 4:1-8
