Good morning with a word for the day-
David was a man after God's own heart.
He says in Psalm 17:15 a very powerful statement. It should be one that we live by on a day to day basis, never forgetting where we are and where we came from, not allowing the day to day life to steal what God has done for us. The statement is this: he says, "As for me, I will see your face in righteousness."
When I stand before my Savior, I will not stand tired, down hearted, beaten, and discouraged, as we do many times here in this world. We have been placed to live and to witness for the Lord Jesus Christ. In prayer, just a day or two ago when pleading for answers, the Lord showed me this one chapter. But when I got to verse 15, it spoke to my troubled soul. As for me, I do not answer for anyone else's soul. Nor do I answer for anyone else's troubles. But as for me, when I see His face, I will stand in His righteousness.
Today just know that the righteousness you have has been given to you by the One who has overcome this world. You will never satisfy this world nor will you be satisfied in this world. David said I shall be satisfied when I awake in your likeness.
I pray this will encourage you today as it encouraged me when my Savior gave it to me. God bless.
